Dating back four generations we have developed many relationships with Wisconsin produce growers. These are not just working relationships, they are bonds that have truly become our extended family. It is a network of farmers that share a passion for providing the finest locally grown produce which has been passed from one family member to the next. Currently we fulfill almost 40% of our orders through locally grown produce, and these special partnerships allow our customers the the opportunity to request specific crops from our farmers.
We are also committed to future generations of local farmers. The Sheboygan Falls High School Agriculture Department has land dedicated to A. J. Wholesale produce with the purpose of providing the students with internships that accompany the food supply chain. These opportunities include but are not limited to; agriculture, procurement, distribution, sales, food safety coordinator, processing, lab technicians, packaging, and logistics.
